Just got the last few stitches removed, prescriptions filled, and are ready to get out of here. Just have to wait and see Dr. Christian one last time…

Big Smile Outside!
Ella Grace enjoyed going outside today! (note: She is wearing extra wires in this photo because the wireless vitals pack required adult wires and we didn’t want to remove her pediatric wires… she didn’t even know she had them on.)
Coming Home Tomorrow
We should be headed for Owensboro tomorrow. Doctor said that 98% possibility we’ll be driving to Owensboro around lunchtime. Can’t wait to get home!
Chest Tubes are Gone!
Just had the chest tubes removed. She did so good! Now she is relaxing in bed with Mommy. The nurse let us know that the weather is nice and Ella will be able to go outside. I’ll post photos of that. Thanks for praying!
Good News This Morning
Just got out of the doctor’s meeting. Ella no longer has to take Potassium. The Potassium was making her vomit and was painful. She has enough in her system and we will push bananas and other Potassium-rich foods. Thank God! Her chest tubes will also be removed in about 10 minutes! We are very happy…

Taking it Easy
Ella Grace has been just lying around today. Her energy level isn’t as high as it was yesterday. We feel this is due to the fact that some of her medication was taken off while her IV was out overnight. Hopefully she will start to feel like becoming more active by the time we take…
New IV In
10:15am – Just got the new IV line in and it went perfect. She had very little pain and the tech was spot on. She is resting now and will take her medicine in a few minutes.
Good Sleep
8:30pm – Ella Grace got a good night of sleep. The nurses helped us schedule all her medicine, therapy and xrays for one time and not spread out through the night. She is feeling good this morning and we are feeling rested! We just found out she will need to keep her chest tubes one…
