3:40pm – Because Ella is being such a good girl, the nurses gave her a new baby doll. 
Her lungs are sounding great now and they will only be doing therapy for the rest of the day. She is also drinking well. The dietitians wanted her to have 100ml of liquid by 4:00 but she already has over 120ml and there’s 20 minutes to spare! At this point we are still waiting for a decision to be made about the chest tubes. It will either be tomorrow or Sunday when they are removed.
